Privacy statement

Like Flo processes personal data within the framework of its activities. This Privacy Statement & Cookie Policy (hereinafter: "Statement") has been drawn up to inform Like Flo customers, Like Flo suppliers, visitors to the Like Flo website and other individuals who contact Like Flo (for example, via the contact form on the Like Flo website) about the processing of their personal data by Like Flo. Like Flo is the controller as referred to in Article 4 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the processing of personal data as described in this Statement.

Personal data we process

Like Flo processes the following personal data of the categories of data subjects mentioned in the introduction of this Statement:

  • First and last name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Employer and position (in case of suppliers)
  • IP address
  • Information about your activities on our website
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Bank account number

Like Flo obtains this personal data because you provide it to us when you use our services, or because it is collected when you use our website.

You are in no way obliged to provide your data to Like Flo. However, if you choose not to provide your data, we may not be able to offer our services (fully) to you.

Special and/or sensitive data we process

Like Flo does not intend to process special and/or sensitive personal data, or to collect personal data from website visitors who are younger than 18 years old. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 18. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at klantenservice@likeflo.nl, and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Like Flo processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To offer you the possibility to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Offering our website
  • Obtaining information about the use of our website

We may use your personal data for the above purposes because you have given us permission to do so, because it is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you and/or because it is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests.

Automated decision-making

Like Flo does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without human intervention (e.g., an employee of Like Flo).

How long we store personal data

Like Flo does not store your personal data longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. In general, we apply the following retention periods for personal data:

  • customer data is kept for up to 2 years after the end of the customer relationship;
  • messages sent via the online contact form are deleted after the message has been handled;
  • tax data is kept for up to 7 years after the data is collected.

Access to your personal data

Like Flo handles your personal data with care. This also means that your personal data is only accessible (internally) to our employees to the extent necessary for the performance of their duties for the purposes stated in this Statement.

Like Flo only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. For the execution of our agreement with you, you can think of the processors we engage, such as our software suppliers. For disclosure based on a legal obligation, you can think of disclosure of your data at the request of, for example, the judiciary or the tax authorities. When providing personal data to third parties, Like Flo will ensure that it takes appropriate safeguards, where possible, to protect your personal data.

In principle, we do not process your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If this is the case, we make every effort to comply with the conditions set by law.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

To help you better and to be able to make a targeted offer, we use cookies to improve your user experience on the website. Like Flo takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized changes.
